In the land of rock lobster
In 2008 I was invited by an European project to go to New Zealand Institute for Crop & Food Research, in Oakland and in Nelson. As you can imagine I could not refuse such an amazing opportunity. I participated in the Project Food Frenz 2008.
The main aims of the Food Frenz Project were sharing experiences:
- to build relationships between consumers, industry and knowledge providers in EU and NZ
- to develop best practice for delivery of sustainable, safe, quality seafood in the EU and NZ
In my case I was interested in the rock lobster industry. Here you can find my PDF repport. Below are some photos taken by me during this study visit. These include: Sanford Limited – sustainable seafood; Auckland Fish market; Seafood wholesalers; Crop & Food Research, Nelson; Moana Pacific Fisheries
